A New Layout

Here is the layout I finished today. I used a sketch this time because I was just drawing a blank (sketch from Allison Davis). I kept it simple and added quite a bit of sewing to it even though my machine was acting up and my stitches aren't perfect - oh well. I used Inkscape to form my text in a circle and then cut it out with my MS circle cutter.

The pictures are of my younger son getting his ear pierced. His older brother has his done and he insisted through the tears. We had to have it done at a tattoo/piercing shop with an actual needle because he has extremely sensitive skin and needed special earrings.

2 page Spray Park Layout

I did this layout last night. It was designed on my Gypsy - I love my Gypsy! I knew exactly what I wanted to do with these pictures and I'm so thrilled with the way it turned out! Cricut Carts used were Life's a Beach and Doodlecharms (for the sun). I love the paper I used for the Mermaid - it's so shiny!

A Simple Layout

It's been months since I've actually made a scrapbook page. So I threw one together quickly. Nothing major or complicated - I just wanted to get one done. I got the idea of using strips of paper from the background from last weeks Finally Friday video found here. The embellishment in the middle says "Happiness is where you find it". Thanks for looking!

Creative Post for July 1st

A layout I did for my son's baseball season this year. I used SCAL for the Red Sox Logo. Nothing fancy bout this one. Just wanted to get it done and I'm happy with the end result.

Some New Layouts

Just a few of the layouts I did over the past few months.
-----------------------------------------------------------
I made this layout using the Create a Critter Cartridge! This has got to be one of the cutest cartridges I've seen in a long time! I added a fabric flower with a stem of ribbon and a flower that I made out of buttons with a stem I drew with my white gel pen. Crinkled and bunched up some patterned paper at the bottom just for a little girliness on the page.

--------------------------------------------------

I made this page using the Lyrical Letters and Preserves Cartridge. I love love love the Preserves Cart!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This page was made using Amy Chomas gel pen holders. Click on her name for her website. She and her husband have made these wonder holders that can be used with your Cricut machine. She currently is selling holders for gel pens, bic mini markers and bic micro markers. She is also now selling an embossing tip! All her products are great quality and she is so pleasant to deal with! Not to mention she has videos, tutorials and lots of projects and ideas on her site.

-------------------------------------------------------
Here are my interactive scrapbook pages! I made these by simply adding another smaller scrapbook page holder on top of my plastic page cover. This is a great way to add even more pictures to your page!

A few scrapbook pages...

Used the new Martha Stewart punch around the page loop punch. I love this punch set and it's super duper easy to use and produces such a cute final product.

Close up on the paper weaving. They are all individual pieces of paper for each slot and oh my did it take long to finish this page.
