Sympathy cards are always so hard to make. I had a lot of fun making these and absolutely love they way they came out! Some are ideas I've gotten online and some are ones that I came up with. Thanks for looking :)

Wish you were here Card

Using $1 stamps from Michaels I created this fun card. The envelope was stamped 3 times and layed for dimension.

Microbead Cards

I stamped the main image and then cut is out with a nestabilities die. I then added a sheet of double sided adhesive to the image and poured microbeads over it. I heated it slightly with my heatgun to set the beads. It add just a little extra something.

Flocked Cards

I used flock on all these cards. The flock was adhered down using Stamp and Bond embossing powder. I just love the texture of these images. The sentiment on the bear card I just printed off my computer.

Iris Fold Card

Simple Iris Fold Card. The stamp is from SU! Trendy Trees. I used multiple inks on the leaves and once stamped I painted on some iridescent medium to make it sparkle. The tree is actually stamped onthe inside of the card. I drew an uneven frame around the main image, added some hemp twine and a greeting and called it done.

Creative post for June 27th

This card was scraplifted off ScrapTV. Great site with lots of ideas. Used nestibilities for main image. Stamped and colored image, cut with nestibilitie then used my SU! Iridescent Ice over the entire image. I then made a second image and cut out random flowers and sttached them to my main stamped image.

Creative post for June 24th

This is a slider card I made for a birthday party we are attending this weekend. I stamped the background with the new Hero Arts Grid stamp in versamark ink on the kraft cardstock. The inside is actually a pocket that can hold money or a giftcard. I used my nestibilities for the top layer. Covering the sentiment with Iridescent Ice from SU!. Added a little ribbon and it's done. I really like how it turned out!

Creative Post for June 16th

I love the way this card turned out! After I stamped and colored my image I cut and embossed it out with a nestibilitie die. Leaving the die around my image I used versamark over the entire piece and then sprinkled on some SU! Iridescent Ice and put my heat gun to it. By leaving the die on when I versamarked it it left the embossed border just white! For the background I used the next size up nestibilitie and then popped up my image in the middle. I also used the Martha Stewart PATP loop punch.
